When you take away an essential part of a flower – its color – you get the other visual parts that are essential to it – its shape and its texture.
This is the first part of a new mini series that I will probably use for my Portfolio page.
You will see the second part on another day yet to be determined.

Hi Timo
I like the new project so far, but I keep coming back to this entry. These are haunting. Yo say you removed the color, but these seem to have a yellow cast. Is that right, or am I seeing something that isn’t there?

Hi Mark,
Thanks a lot for your comment.
You are absolutely right, this is not “pure” black and white, i.e. I did some special tweaking in Lightroom.
I took away the original color and did some toning.
Cheers,
Timo
