I know, Abstract Photography is not everybody’s taste, but well, I am not here to please everyone. 😉
Had to do several shots until I had the result I wanted, but luckily not too many…

Catching Light

Catching Light

Even when it’s very cold outside the sun casts this wonderful warm light in the late afternoon.
When I came across this scene I was reminded of what photography really is about: catching light…

As you know this week I have a motto: ‘Balance’.
On Tuesday I posted an HDR landscape picture of a balanced stone rock, and here we have a dolphin balancing a ball – both existed only for a fraction of a second in Another World.
You can find the other photos of this abstract macro series (not about the subject ‘Balance’ though) by clicking here or via the Tag Cloud.

As always click on picture for larger and sharper version.

PS:
Yes, I did change the title, a thing I woud usually never do.
After I took this photo I saw a balanced rock in this. But now, after receiving comments, I cannot help but see a dophin with a ball as well.
It is fascinating how the pattern finding mechanisms of the human brain work sometimes…

This is the third picture of a new abstract/surreal macro series I’ve been creating.
For those of you who missed the first two photos:
First one: The Sad Woman
Second one: The Hunched Juggler

More still to come, so stay tuned. As always, best viewed large (click on pic).
