Archive for November, 2020

These pictures are from another day – as you can see the weather was much friendlier.

I love those mountain streams. (Long time exposure with ND filter)

Nice snow on top and blue sky – such a beautiful day…
More photos from that hike to follow soon.
Have a great weekend!

Percy

May I introduce… This is Percy, probably one of the friendliest dogs I have ever seen. Didn’t bark at all despite various provocations from other dogs he encountered.
Shooting pet portraits for other people is always a tricky thing. Not everyone likes a small depth of field, so you have to find out their individual taste.

Winter is nearing slowly but steadily. What can you expect in this season?
I still have some nice stuff to show from my mountrain trip, but I am also going to share some pictures from travels I did in the last 2-3 years (Dolomites, Denmark, UK, Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Netherlands to name but a few) as well as some black and white work and an occasional still life. And I don’t need to mention pet portraits – you can always count on these in this blog.
Moreover, I plan to share with you some of my old gear (vintage alert!) and a blast from the past now and then.

Have a nice week and stay healthy!

In the mountains the weather can change rather quickly.
And right after the rain has fallen, dramatic views are possible.
Don’t forget to prepare yourself with regards to clothing and gear.

Have a great week!

Chillaxin’ Caruso

Cats, the masters of relaxation. Just take a look at youngster Caruso here and tell me you don’t feel at least a bit more chillaxed right away.
Laziness as an art form – I love it!

Next up: more pics from my last mountain trip.

Chapel View – Mountain Trip 2020

I don’t have to say much today with so many things going on in the world right now. Just wanted to share this nice place with you – perhaps it can disctract you from your worries for a moment.

(Shot taken with my Samsung NX3000 and 30mm 1:2 lens)

Chill a bit, y’all! 😉
