I realised that I neglected you guys – so here you find a small series of a lovely cat I saw on a farm a few weeks ago. Hope that will make up for it. 😉

This is Cologne from above – or at least the part where you can see the Cathedral, Hohenzollern Bridge, the river Rhine and the Central Station to name but a few.

Today’s picture is inspired by my series called Essential which I created back in 2010 (also to be found on my Portfolio Page) and which long time followers might remember.
This time I chose a different composition though.

Night shots are fun, especially when you carry a tripod with you.
I didn’t – mea culpa. Luckily I could improvise by putting the camera on a wall.
Although it turned out well, the moral of the story is: don’t forget the tripod…
