Enjoying the Sun

Enjoying the Sun

Photo taken with an (expired) original Polaroid TZ Artistic film.
I know there are still some Polaroid fans out there, so this one is for you.
When I scanned the photo I tried to get as close as possible to the original colors.
This is my last pack of the Polaroid TZ film that is no longer in production…

Water Tower

Water Tower

Taken with a Polaroid SX-70 on TZ Artistic film (expired in autumn 2009).
Again, colors were not changed, this is pretty much like the analog original.
The greenish tones are due to the film (obviously) in combination with the cold temperature under which the photo was shot (see previous posts with Polaroid pictures for more info).

Sunbather

Sunbather

Time for another Polaroid picture.
Same as last time, camera was an SX-70 and film an expired (09/2009) “Time Zero” (TZ Artistic) from Polaroid which is no longer produced (a real shame).
As you can see again, the temperature under which the photo was taken affected the outcome of the colors – this time they are quite warm, since the picture was taken inside.
No post-processing done here, colors are close to the analog original.

The Mourner

The Mourner

Camera: Polaroid SX-70
Medium: TZ Artistic film (expiration date 09/09).

The colors have not been changed – no post-processing here.
When I scan Polaroid pictures I give my best to keep colors/tones as close to the original as possible (the original still looks better IMHO – there is nothing better than “the real thing”).

With this film temperature influences the outcome. I could have put the picture inside my jacket during the development phase, but I wanted to have the cold atmosphere in the shot, since the photo shows a war memorial…
