I like the time of the day when the sky is not red yet, but everything is bathed in a warm, golden light.
As some of you will certainly have noticed, this is an HDR picture.

I was driving in my car when all of a sudden I came across the scenery you see above. So I pulled off the road, got out of my car and took some pictures.
So here we have another vital lesson from photography – never forget the camera!
“Hey, wait, isn’t that quite contradictory to the blog title?”, I hear some of you say.
Don’t worry, there is a difference in meaning:
On the one hand, you should always carry a camera if you don’t want to miss anything, but on the other hand, it is still you who has to see the opportunity and create the picture. (More info on my About page.)
The one you see above was taken with one of my compact cameras btw and not with my DSLR.
So all in all and to add some confusion: Forget the camera, but just don’t forget the camera…
Or as Chase Jarvis says: “The best camera is the one you have with you.”
Well, the weather really is a favorite topic for a lot of people.
And all those who are into photography can’t really ignore it either.
So after those past sunny days here we will have some rain in the next days. I’m just glad I used the opportunity and that I will be able to post more pictures from Sunday’s photowalk quite soon (expect another HDR picture!).
