Although this time of the year has no religious meaning to us we still celebrate it as a family event.

The simple things in life can often give you the most pleasure. A meal with friends in a nice atmosphere is more worth than all material wealth in the world.
The ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus said:
“Send me a pot of cheese, so that I may be able to indulge myself whenever I wish.”
To him the key to happiness was simple food, water, shelter, friendship, freedom and thought, and things like fame and fortune were both unnatural and unnecessary.
