Especially since it’s black and white. I don’t think you would get these intriguing textures in color.
That’s absolutely right! – Black and white is ideal for textures and/or contrasts.
l always take my digital pictures in color though (with film it is different obviously), because I want full control over the conversion process – there are so many possibilities.
However, in most cases I already know before pressing the trigger if I want something in black and white.
This was the case here, too.
I find this strangely incredibly soothing.
